Though this recipe is not attractive in appearance, it is very rich in fibre and it is very tasty with the spices.
To make this breakfast item, we need
Ragi flour- 1 cup
Ginger and Garlic- (grated)- 3 tbsp
curry leaves a handful
Small onion (Shallots)- finely chopped- 1 handful.
Salt as needed
Chilli powder- 1/2 tbsp
Murungai (Drumstick tree leaves)- 2 handful- nicely chopped
Mix all the ingredients in a wide bottom vessel. Add only around 1/2 cup water.
This should not be too watery. It should be more like dough for chapathi.
Heat up the pan and spread a handful of this batter and let it cook well.
Turn to another side. Add oil when cooking both sides.
Serve hot with Tomato chutney.
